Refund Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for Premium subscriptions on Art and Artists World. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

What we sell

Art and Artists World sells one thing: an annual Premium subscription that adds features to an artist or gallery profile — priority placement, a homepage feature, a direct contact form, and inclusion on our Art for Sale page.

We do not sell artwork. Artwork shown on this platform is listed by the artists and galleries themselves, and any sale is a private transaction between them and the buyer. We take no commission and are not a party to it, so this policy does not apply to artwork purchases.

Your right to cancel

You may cancel a Premium subscription at any time, from the Cancel subscription button in your dashboard. It takes you to a secure page run by Stripe, our payment provider, and needs no email to us and no explanation.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Your Premium features remain active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

14-day full refund

You can get a full refund on any payment within 14 calendar days. Not a partial refund, and not reduced because you have used the features in the meantime — the whole amount.

A full refund ends the subscription: your Premium features stop straight away and you will not be charged again. You are welcome to subscribe again at any time.

This applies to everyone: consumers, and businesses such as galleries, anywhere in the world. It is our own policy, so it holds regardless of what your local law requires.

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of subscribing. Our refund covers that right in full: you get the whole amount back, with nothing deducted for the days you have used. To exercise it, simply tell us within the 14 days by any clear statement — through our contact page or by email to info@artandartistsworld.com. You do not need a form or a reason.

Refunds after 14 days

Beyond the 14-day window we do not routinely refund part-used subscriptions, because access to the paid features is available throughout the term.

That said, if something has gone wrong — you were charged twice, the features did not work, or the subscription renewed when you had cancelled — contact us and we will put it right. We would rather resolve a genuine problem than stand behind a policy.

How to request a refund

Contact us through our contact page with the email address used for the subscription. We issue refunds within 14 days of your request, back to the original payment method, and your bank or card issuer may take a few days more to show it.

Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for every Premium subscription through its Link service. Your receipts come from Link, and your card or bank statement shows the charge as LINK.COM* followed by our name — so if you are trying to identify a charge, that is what to look for.

You may also contact Link support directly about a payment, but the quickest route is usually to come to us first, since we can see your account and confirm what was charged.

Price changes

We may change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers are notified before any change takes effect, and a change never applies to a period already paid for.

Questions

Anything unclear, ask us via the contact page before subscribing rather than after. We would rather answer a question than process a refund.
